Restore color and gloss to lightly faded, oxidized or stained fiberglass without the work
TotalBoat Fiberglass Polish combines a mild polishing agent with a protective wax coating to revitalize gelcoat finishes in a single step.
It’s a perfect match for ridding your boat’s gelcoat of stains, slight scratches, and light fading. Multi-step polishing systems using rubbing compounds may be necessary on seriously neglected surfaces, but they are harder and much more time consuming to use by comparison. In addition, they are overkill for the jobs our fiberglass polish is suited for.
Our polish is easy to apply and remove when applied by hand. No electric buffers necessary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Is TotalBoat Fiberglass Polish a rubbing compound?
No, it’s not a rubbing compound. Rather, it’s a good ‘one step’ product for surfaces that are already in good condition, and it’s easier and safer to use than rubbing compounds. -
What is the difference between Fiberglass Polish and TotalShine?
TotalShine is a finishing compound that removes scratches and light oxidation and is the 2nd step in our buffing system. Although polish can remove scratches and light oxidation too, it’s commonly used for adding smoothness and shine, while restoring the hull’s original color. It also contains wax, whereas TotalShine does not. -
What is the difference between Fiberglass Polish and TotalBoat Wax?
TotalBoat Wax is the final step in the 3-step Hand Polishing Kit system. For the best results, apply the premium wax after using the polish. The wax is necessary to protect that boat for the season against salt, oxidation, dirt, and UV radiation. -
Will TotalBoat Fiberglass Polish restore oxidized gelcoat?
An oxidized surface may restore to some degree with polishing but still leave an uneven color due to fading. The more oxidized your hull is, the more you need to polish in order to get back to the original color. -
Does it remove stains?
Yes, Fiberglass Polish is good for light cleaning and removing stains from gelcoat. -
Can this polish be used on paint?
Yes, it applies easily over other waxes and polishes and is safe to use on painted surfaces. -
